The Shock swept their way to yet another WNBA Championship.
The Shock took home-court advantage away early against the Silver Stars, winning Games 1 and 2 in San Antonio before cruising to an easy Game 3 victory to earn a Finals sweep and win their third WNBA title in six seasons. Veteran guard Katie Smith added to her Olympic gold medal in Beijing by winning the Finals MVP award after averaging 21.7 ppg.
