Friday

7:00 PM EST – Storm at Sun

Stewie makes her much-anticipated return to the state where she became a household name. The Storm have had an up-and-down season thus far but the Rookie of the Year candidate will surely be in high-spirits in front of what will be a UConn-heavy crowd. She also will face off with third overall pick and ex-Connecticut teammate, Morgan Tuck.

7:00 PM EST – Sky at Fever

It’s EDD vs. Tamika Catchings for the first of three final times. While EDD is just reaching the apex of her career, Catch is in the final season of a storybook tenure in the league. Both have been playing exceptionally well this season, but that’s to be expected. When these two are on the floor, there are bound to be highlights aplenty.

7:30 PM EST – Lynx at Dream

Can the Lynx extend their undefeated streak in the ATL? If so, it’s going to take a heavy dose of Maya Moore, who has unquestionably entered her name into the forefront of the league MVP conversation. The Dream won’t make it easy as they have burst onto the scene in 2016 and their 6-2 record has them sitting atop the Eastern Conference. With a win, the Lynx would tie the second-best start in league history, behind only their 10-0 start in 2012.

7:00 PM EST – Lynx at Mystics

If Friday goes as planned for Minnesota, the team will have a chance to tie the record for consecutive wins to start a season. Going 10-0 is on the line and you can bet that Washington won’t want to be on the wrong side of history. The nation’s capital will be rocking for this potentially historic evening.

8:00 PM EST – Liberty at Stars

New York has been on the see-saw to start to the season and is reeling from a 100-77 defeat in L.A. If the Liberty want to make a playoff push, a game in San Antonio is the ideal time to get on the right side of a .500 record. Tina Charles has been sensational for the Libs this year, and the task of righting the ship begins squarely on her shoulders. The time is now for New York.

8:30 PM EST – Sparks at Wings

One of the biggest storylines thus far in the WNBA season has been the stellar play of Candace Parker. The 30-year-old is playing some of the best ball we’ve seen from over the past few seasons, ranking top-1o in the league in points, assists, steals and blocks. Like the Lynx, the Sparks are undefeated and are chasing history in their own right. But wouldn’t it be something to see Skylar Diggins put a wrench in the Sparks plan? Maybe Saturday will finally be when the star guard is allowed to unleash her abilities.

Sunday

3:00 PM EST – Sun at Dream

Just 48 hours after welcoming the undefeated, Maya Moore-led Lynx to town, the Dream could be on Cloud Nine heading into a Sunday matinee with Connecticut. If the Dream are able to defeat the Lynx on Friday and then take down the Sun on Sunday they could really start being considered as a team to be there when the confetti starts falling at season’s end.

6:00 PM EST – Sky at Mercury

The busy weekend concludes with a star-studded matchup. between Diana Taurasi and Elena Delle Donne in the desert. Both teams are desperate to make sure their stars are playing in the postseason, so this game feels like a must-win for either team. Expect points, and a lot of them, as the No. 2 and 4-ranked offensive teams face off.
